Drooping, yellowing leaves.

That one leaf had that little cut out from the beginning so I'm not worried about. What I am concerned about is the yellow coloration and the droopiness.

The blurry one shows the droop.

I'm using 4x27 CFL for two of these guys (I've only taken pictures of one. The other one isn't discolored but it is droopy. Also they're on 24/0.

I'm using Miracle-Gro Organic Choice Potting Mix (10-5-5). They're about 10 days old and I've watered once.

I don't think it's overwatering because they started doing this while I saw the soil was pretty dry. Could be bad pH, I'm going to try some plant food first and see what happens in case it's a N/P deficiency. I know the CW is that pH is more often the problem than nutrients but $5 plant food is a lot cheaper than a pH tester.

Going to try this stuff

Re: Drooping, yellowing leaves.

Now that I think about it, I'm betting I got pH lockout by watering too much. I'm going to add some vinegar along with that food and see what happens.

Re: Drooping, yellowing leaves.

I just posted something about a similar problem. I didnt think I over watered mine and I was actually afraid they werent getting enough water. But maybe I just didnt realize how much they were getting.

Re: Drooping, yellowing leaves.

I would bet that your problem is the miracle grow soil and perhaps ph and or over watering. Your plants are way to young for all those ferts, i would wait til they had three sets of leaves(not counting little round leaves) to give fert. Also ph is crucial, a tester and some up and down solution is well worth the money. Make sure you let the soil dry out between waterings.
good luck
