Re: Emergency! Plants drooping, yellowing, & brown spots.

I see people that say they like to bud their plants around 2-3 weeks.

I want to bud mine so it doesn't go above 66cm, although the aerogarden lamp can go up to 3ft tall.

That's for a SOG grow. It's fine, as long as yo understand that you are basically building 1 bud and not really a whole plant. I'll find you a picture.

ok, like this but without the 4-5 inch stem at the bottom (thats because this one was from a clone)

Re: Emergency! Plants drooping, yellowing, & brown spots.

Okay, well I poured out my reservoir that had the nutrients in it, and I refilled it with drinking water and poured some H2O2 in it, but the plants didn't improve any at all.

WHAT could be wrong with these plants?! :[ They have almost completely stopped growing, they are growing very slowly, I also noticed that the two little leaves that are always first to show, they are turning brown and dying.

Also the two biggest leaves are now getting brown spots near the tips.

Someone please diagnose what is wrong.

I decided it was probably the PH's problem, so i added muriatic acid into the water. i used a pool PH tester to test our water until it was the color of a 6.8 pH level, then i added some more drops to get around 5.5-6.5 pH level.

The plants were surviving in a 8.0+ pH level.

If this doesn't work, I don't know what will.

Sorry to hear your having issues with your plants.
The problems that stood out reading through this thread - ph too high running at 8, nute burn, and there could still be an issue with no circulation in the rez if you haven't resolved it. Once you've burned your plants and the brown spots show up on the leaves, the damaged leaves will still have those spots You need to keep an eye on the new growth to see if things are getting better

PH swings, nute burn, etc...can stunt the growth of your plant. Unfortunately, it's a wait and see. If there's a hydro store near you, I'd recommend investing in some ph up / ph down, and a ph meter (find on ebay for around $10), along with hydro nutes. If you can keep your PH in the 5.8 - 6.0 range your plants will be much happier

These things have already been mentioned by LBH and the others that have responded to your post not trying to be mean or anything, but the info's there my friend

Good luck with your grow.

The pic is gone but it was about 4-5 grams. You need to understand, these are 1 bud, about 8-12", there will be no "ounces",lol.

Thanks.

Well I looked at them again today, and the two biggest leaves are almost completely yellow, but the new growth leaves are getting greener and greener.

I noticed also that since we put the muriatic acid in the water, the plants veins are getting greener, we put it in yesterday and the plants veins are already alot greener.

Thanks for helping me out.

EDIT:
I also noticed that even though they are getting greener, they are drooping farther than they used to.

OH, ALSO... What's supposed to happen to the two smallest leaves(The ones that form first in the seedling stage)?

Re: Emergency! Plants drooping, yellowing, & brown spots. [UNSOLVED (see pg. 2)]

you're welcome

the first set of "seedling" leaves usually die off, and sometimes they don't, either way it's ok.

Glad to hear the new growths looking better. Gluck

Thanks, I was wondering why they were turning brown.
