First Grow, Leaves Developing Black Spots, Drying Out

Hello GC, This is my first grow. Started with 4 seeds from BS. One died due to stress when I transplanted, two males, left with one female. She was doing fine until I started Flower.

What type of medium; soil or hydro?----Soil
What brand and type of soil?---MG Organic
Indoors or outdoors?---Indoors
What strain?---Unknown, Bagseed
How old are the plants?---8 weeks old, two weeks into Flower
What type of lights and how many watts?---10-23W CFL's 8 2700K, 2 6500K
How far from the lights?---2 inches from top and 2 inches from side
What is your watering frequency and source of water?---Watering about every 3 days, filtered tap water
What, how much and when was it fed? NPK?---Last two waterings have been plain water. Using GH Flora Nova Bloom Nutes at half strength.
What is the medium/runoff pH and PPM if in hydro?---Using a soil pH tester, pH readings constant at 6.5
What are the temps and humidity in the room?---Temps 78-80, Humidity 45-50%
What size pots?---Estimate 3 Gallon?
Any bugs? Look real close.---Have not found any signs of bugs.
Any other pertinent info?--- Yesterday I transplanted into this larger container, I thought the problem might have been root bound. The roots looked like they were begining to get root bound but not too bad. Roots looked healthy.

My guess is it's either the soil or some type of mold or fungus.
Growth seems to be a bit stunted and the buds are pretty small.
Thank you in advance for any help and advice!

I'm not an expert but it looks a little like PH damage to me. I'd check your runoff PH and see what it is.

No matter what the symptoms look like, always make sure pH is correct. If its good, then kinda looks like a Phosphorus deficiency. Could maybe switch to a Feed with nutes, then plain water, then nutes, then water, and so on. If it seems ok and can take it, Id say go with it, as long as no nute dmg. I personally am almost feeding my flowering plants nutes every watering, very rarely do I feed without anything. Always atleast have Liquid Karma + CalMag in my RO water.

Re: First Grow, Leaves Developing Black Spots, Drying Out

Thank you both for the advice. You were right. My tap water pH was 7.2. I adjusted it down to 6.4 with pH down. Gave her a watering with Flora Nova Bloom. Runoff pH was 6.8. That soil pH tester went in the trash, totally useless.

Cross your fingers for her for a full recovery

It wont heal the spots that are already damaged but no new spots will occur. Who cares about that, dont sweat it man, not that big of a deal. Plant wll keep growing and those big fan leaves will eventually fall off anyway
