Droopy and maybe deficient plants?

Hey guys, we're about 6-7 weeks into our grow and already weeded out one male, definitely have one female.
about 2 days ago all of the plants seemed to get really droopy and sad looking, one of them is going a little purple in the middle of the leaves.
any ideas?
at first we thought we were watering too much cause the leaves looked like they were trying to disperse the water, but then they really got droopy fast. is it a nutrient problem?

How often are you watering? is your light cycle on 18/6? what kind of lighting are you using?

Re: Droopy and maybe deficient plants?

That looks like a potassium deficiency to me.
I think you may find there is a PH problem.

Re: Droopy and maybe deficient plants?

We were watering about 300ml's every 3 or so days. Slowed down just incase it was an overwatering problem.
and started using more nutrients. upped the nutrients yesterday but havent noticed anything as of yet.
i'm going to check the PH as well.

we're also on about a 22/2 right now i think. could that be the problem?
using 6 CFL's

hey dude, that lighting cycle is a bit uncommon i never heard of anyone using it, but it shouldnt be the problem i guess, as its still a 24 hour day cycle, can i ask why you use 22/2 not saying your wrong just out of interest lol only thing i really see in ur pics is that their overwatered, do you let the soil dry out between watering?

Re: Droopy and maybe deficient plants?

Its in my roommates room, and he wanted to have it on 24/0 but had it turned off for a couple hours before bed or something to help him sleep i think.
i think we might switch it to 18/6, we're pretty close to switching to flowering anyway.
but we just want them to be in good health before doing so.

we've been letting it dry out for about a half inch deep into the soil when i stick my finger in the soil.
we're going to try let it sit a few more days. see if there is any difference. we watered them with some nutrients yesterday .

Re: Droopy and maybe deficient plants?

yea a more common cycle is prob best but bear in mind all the messing with the lighting cycles will cause stress to your plant(which can make it go hermie Not good!!)

to give you an idea of watering i completely soke the pot all the way through so some runs out the bottom, then i dont water again untill the soil is almost Completely dry then i water again not saying you should do that but just to give u an idea, MJ plants like their soil to dry out somewhat between waterings it wont hurt them, also if problem persist dont keep giving nutes, will do more harm than good

Re: Droopy and maybe deficient plants?

Awesome thanks.
well my room mate went in and changed the light cycle to 18/6. guess we'll go with that until we're ready for flowering.
their already looking a bit better from yesterday. i think it was a nutrient problem. definitely a lot less droopy. i just checked the soil PH and we're sitting around 6.5 so i dont think thats too much a problem.

I'll keep an eye on them for the next few days. and update if theres any other problems. if you can think of anything else let me know

thanks again
