Question Yellow Leaves Dying

Hi,

My plant has been getting yellow leaves a couple days ago but now it looks like it's spreading all over... has anybody seen this problem before?

My plant has started to flower a couple weeks ago, but slowly..

Any ideas or help is apreciated, thanks!

Re: Yellow Leaves Dying

Hello.

I seem to be having a very similar problem. Both our leaves look to be suffering from phosphate deficiency. In my case, I think there is plenty of phosphate in the soil but the roots aren't able to soak them up due to the soil having a high pH. I'm about to make a post about it. Hopefully someone can here can answer our questions!

Re: Yellow Leaves Dying

Interesting, I will check the PH again, last time I checked (2weeks ago) it was at 5.5 - 6 but somewhere I read that Magnesium deficency is similar (but I*m still not sure) and that a too low ph could cause the nutrients to get blocked. I even added some vinegar to the water to raise the ph but if you`re right on this I was just doing the exact opposite... maybe that`s why the yellow leaves are spreading so quickly... I will post the new ph levels and wait for more info before doing anything..

Re: Yellow Leaves Dying

I would definitely be curious to find out what ails your plants, as their problem looks so similar to mine. Just remember that vinegar lowers pH though.

Ok, I just checked on the ph of the water I use and the runoff water in the soil:

Water: 7.5
Runoff: 6.5

Might the .5 in the water influence the reading of the runoff water? If yes, does this mean the soil ph isn't 6.5 but maybe 6 or 5.5 ???

About the vinegar, good I used only a tiny little bit and now with the flushing it should be very minimal...

Still praying on some solution here It's spreading like crazy.
