Unhappy Burn help?

When I woke up this morning and opened my grow door i came to find out one of my clamps with to cfls on it fell and leaned into the plant burning 2 leaves on a huge 7 fan and burned a whole 5 leaf fan what should i do leave them or trim them off or will i be fine?

i would say trim them but just to be sure wait till some one with more experince comes on wont be long ,,

Trim the burnt parts, it will only attract bugs.

This is a possible fire hazard (less so with CFL, but still).

You need to have a better method of securing your lights than a clamp. If you use a clamp, tie off a tether line from the fuxture to the ceiling, so if the clamp fails, the fixture only drops an inch or two. Make the tether removable (we call these earthquake supports in the lighting industry).

Good luck but trim that sucker NOW so she can grow back healthy.

alright will do. Thanks i trimmed the real badly burnt one but should i trim the whole fan of the big one with 2 burnt leaves or just the 2 burnt ones? Thanks again!

just cutting the burnt bits will be fine, just remove any parts that are dead the whole leaf wont die if u cut a part off
