problem with plant! help please!

My wife accidentally bent the plant the other day, the leaves are curling and starting to yellow! Could bending a plant at the stak cause this to happen? Or does it look like something else is going on? The stalk seems to be doing fine now!

I am growing and Fox farms Ocean Forest I am growing short rider plants, I have not fertilized and they are almost 2 weeks old now.

Please help me save the baby!

Thank you

Re: problem with plant! help please!

Did the stem snap at all? Or just bend like in half almost. I`m not quite sure w/out seeing it, but I think you may have other problems. I take it its an indoor grow. How hot is your grow area getting? Soil or what? Also if you can check your ph that would help. As far as the stem I would just brace it up str8 and it should be fine. Not sure if u have had a fan on them or not also but that`ll make your stems stronger.

Re: problem with plant! help please!

I dont think the stem bending is the problem. I`m wondering what the temps are getting at. It kinda looks like it could be heat stress to me. If you don`t have a fan blowing on it u need 1 if u have 1 u need 2, and/or possibly raise light a little. What kinda wattage u got goin on there? Not sure thats what it is tho, maybe some1 else can chime in

hey, unless the stem snaped it wont be that, is the yellowing on the top of the plant or working up from the bottom? its possible they are getting some nute burn from FFOF as its been known to do that although im not sure it is in your case, what lights are u using? also do you know your soil PH as you could have some kind of nute lock-out thats showing as a nute def
