Question Whats with my auto flower clones ?????

So I cloned a few ladies from one of my Basic Beer plants and it is a auto flower. I didn't know this prior that they were auto flower. Any how they started off well and then after about 7 nodes or so started to grow there leaf structure all fuckerd up. The leafs are thin and are growing with only three blades. Is it a problem to clone auto flowering plants ? Are resources used else where and this causes abnormal growth ?

Re: Whats with my auto flower clones ?????

autoflowering plants do not respond to changes in light or environment. instead their life cycle is on a timer that is started right when your seed sprouts. if you take a cutting you cannot put it back into veg because the timer is already counting. does this make sense? normal cuttings that are taken, even in flower, can be reverted back into veg cycle because they do not have this timing based life cycle. i would say that if the cutting did take root it would be immediately flowering nomatter what you try.

good luck man, interested to see how this plays out

cheers!

edit: the reason for the random growth is because it is still flowering. equal growth as you know is only in veg cycle

Re: Whats with my auto flower clones ?????

Why thank you kid_sublime good detail and answers to my question exactly I thank you. Yes the plants in the pictures were started in 1 inch cubes till roots showed then put into 6 inch cubes where they rooted out those as well. I am abandoning the project due to the fact there is not crop benefit in this and only fun in the challenge. I will play another day. I really really like the strain so far though and dont know what it is.
