Bud Rot screwed my cola

So my widow has been packing on a very tight and nice cola, and come to find today it had bud rot I believe, there were four nice nugget sized branches that formed the cola all about 8-10 inches from the top, so I didnt know what to do, and was very angry and just pulled them off, it kindve pulled out some of the stalk when I pulled them, but not tooo bad, but it did go a little deep when I pulled the infected bud off, I assume it was bud rot anyways, it was brown and soakin wet, we've had some horribly we weather and my guess is it soaked in and rotted in the bud in a course of like 1.5 days.

Anyhow, I plucked them off, now theres a bald spot all the way to the stalk about 6 inches or more in the cola, its aggrivating. Will she be okay and keep going anyways? Its about 3 weeks from harvest I would guess.

neem .

hit her with neem, you got time for one good dose... other then that botrytis is spread thru spores so wash your hand after touching it..like immediately to prevent spreading.

cut out all the infected parts .. BR will start inside the bud and work out, the lack of air circulating caused by dense buds is the perfect "culture" for it, so dont be afraid to look "inside" your buds after you have removed the infected parts and cleaned your hands...if it is bad you may have to do this a couple times


good luck... been "there", done "that".... so I feel for ya...but next year Neem em evey 7-14 days after 8/1 IMHO
