100% sure they are fruit nats. And they will drop larve in your soil and it will eat your roots and your plant will die.
Cover the top layer of your soil with 1 inch of sand "not beach sand" and it willl sufficate the larve... use neem oil or potatoe slices to kill / keep the adults away also put up sticky traps
