What happened to my plant :(

Photo 21.jpg
Photo 20.jpg

I've been growing my plants outside, they're in direct sunlight all day long (I think so, anyway, there's a tree, it might give them some shade part of the day, but don't think so)
All of my plants have been loving it, I've been watering them every day or two, and they've been growing beautifully. I've fertilized them twice within the month/month and a half since I've planted them. All of my other plants have loved it, and are very healthy. This one, however, seems to be dying. Any ideas what's up?
I'd think it was over-fertilization, but I used the same solution on all of my plants (Miracle gro, 20/20/20). It kind of looks like that, so I might just flush it with water (the soil's kind of dry, ready for water anyway)
I'm not too worried about it, I was just planting these for fun (I like growing things) and I doubt I'll get any bud from 'em, cause I planted them so late. The point of this grow was so that I could learn more about growing marijuana for when I am actually ready to seriously start.
That being said, I'd like to know what I did, so that I won't do it next time. Any ideas?

Re: What happened to my plant :(

I started out with some organic potting soil i bought from wal-mart, in little cups. I cut holes in the bottom for drainage, so that I could just fill them with water every once in a while without worrying about overwatering them.
The plants are grown from some seed i got in a bag of nice middies. I already killed 4 out of my 9 origninal plants by trying to avoid buying potting soil, and instead putting them in some compost my friend had (it burned them right up)
These 5, however, i started in topsoil, but then went out and bought potting soil after the first 4 died.
I've been watering them with the tapwater in my hometown, I don't know its acidity, but none of them have had any problems as of yet.
Additionally, they get water whenever it rains.
There aren't any bugs in the plants, they're 3 stories up off the ground and well away from anything else that's alive.

I know so many people make a huge deal about PH, I haven't checked: I don't want to buy a PH tester (I'm not too serious about this growth) but I'll be growing other stuff in my dorm, so I might have to buy one eventually, i guess. If this seems to be the problem, i guess i'll just go buy one.

Re: What happened to my plant :(

Also, this plant was perfectly healthy yesterday morning; this happened between yesterday and today.
I think I fertilized it two or three days ago.

Re: What happened to my plant :(

i did this same thing when i first started growing my plant
i flushed it and gave it a few days and it was back to normal but the leaves that are affected now will just die and fall off eventually there is no saving them but the new growth will be fine

Re: What happened to my plant :(

thanks for the tip
that's what i thought it was, but they didn't turn brown, they just got wierd gray-ish spots all over them and shriveled up.
guess i'll have to be more careful in the future with my fertilizer.
