Hello I can use some help here…

Well I have some white widow that is giving me some problems.

600w hps on 4" light mover 2x4 aero system

Ph 5.6 -5.9
Ppm 800-900
3 days into flower
Advanced nutes 3 part + cal-mag +_h202 35% and a little super thrive... RO water
canopy temps 75 nute temps 70 root zone temps 71
light is about 20" away with enclosed hood

The problem seems to start on older leaves first. Very slight at first but becomes very bad. It happens on only white widow as I do have a couple blue berry and diesel in same solution.

I have tried many suggestions I have read in others post but no success. I am currently 2 days into a 3 day flush.

This is a aero system similar to aqua mist system. The pics attached are of the mother which I recently separated from rest.

Also new growth Is very thin and light green.

I've read in more then one place here that White Widow is real sensitive to nutes. Therefor one should top out at about 1/2 -3/4. They do look a little nute burned. If no one responds well here or you want a second opinion I would post this and the pics in this thread.

thanks for the input MagniKhan im kind of thinking its nute burn myself thats why i am currently doing a flush.

Would 3 days be enough to correct the problem or should i go longer?

This is my first grow with white widow got any ww grow journal links i may have missed?

You have Severe Mag (MN ) Deficiencies. To resolve this problem, First tell me what was fed to them in the last 7 days, also the Soil your using.

thanks for stopping in ww man. Well first off i dont use soil and they are currently in the 3rd day of a three day flush.

i was giving them advanced nutes mgb and cal-mag.i was using full strength solution and i feel that was the problem after reading your journal stating ww likes low nutes.

i think the mag deficiency was caused by to much nutes and therefore locking out the mag. at first i thought it was cal deficiency but new growth was fine. then i thought mag then i thought nute burn.

but now im pretty sure its over nuting locking out mag. im sure its a ww issue as i have blue berry and diesel in same solution and there fine.

tomorrow im going to give 25-35%solution as the issue dose not seem to be spread like it was at 800 ppm ... im going for 300-400 ppm.

How big is your Res .. ?

1) Check your PH in and run off.

2) it looks like PH spotting and a mag deficiency cause of the PH. Your meter might not be properly calculated.

3) You need to check your PPMs in and out with the run off. do you have a PPM meter?

at first it looked like a bacteria infection but its growing like a mag or possible phosphorus issue.

• for each gallon of water, use 1 teaspoon of Epsom Salt.

Nitrogen and Carbonate bind the Magnesium to the roots when it is to acidic.

Just add a couple table spoons if Epsom salt per gallon of water. Add some Dolomite Lime to your medium mix next time to avoid problems.

When Magnesium isn't readily available to much phosphorus early on builds up toxic structures in the leaves and waste is left behind and chlorophyll screens block and burn out, thus you get the dead brown spots. It can Eventually make its way to the leaf tips and begin curling them up.

10 gallon res.

ph meter good .. i have two digital meters one continuous and calibrate monthly

like i said i have 3 blue berry and 1 diesel using same solution and there fine.

it started getting bad as i increased nutes. i am sure there is plenty of mag available to ww as i used 5ml per gallon of cal-mag ... and bb and diesel are great.

roots are bright white so i dont think its a bacteria issue and ph is pretty stable. i also use 35% h202 to treat ro water every 4 days.

so im pretty sure its like u said a mag deficiency caused by over nuting causing mag to be locked out.

i will post update in a week... hopefully all goes well. thanks for your input guys and have a good one.

hey my friend, it seems we have alot in common i myself am growing white widow, blue berry (dutch passion) , red diesel, along with like 5 or 6 other strains im probably about to let go. thus far my white widow is the only one that i have in flower, or that i have harvested

id like to keep up with u and compare notes if u dont mind, so i hope u plan on sticking around for a while...

so any way i have the same set up but my bucket is just like a bubble bucket, just water and bubbles

for my soultion and nutes i use, sugar daddy and GH nutes 3 part nutes

i have the same yellowing, and yellowing during flushing is good.

that means u are ridding all the chylorophyl from ur plants whick males for a less harsh smoke in the leafs

i believe this gives the plant more time to concentrate on resin and THC production also, this has been my expierence

here are some pics of my leafs from my old harvest, and the harvest was still VERY PLENTIFUL trust me!!!

WW is very fertilizer intollerant as previously posted

if your using the same res as your other plants you may just keep having issues with the WW
I stopped growing WW for this reason, I had to have separate res's......just too finicky

who cares wat the leafs look like long as the buds are happy and the smoke is good

my babies leafs didnt like it but the buds showed no sign of defiency, thats when i would start growing

lets face it here people now if u are trying to get in the greenest finished budding up plant contest than by all means stay green as u can

but your plants can go without 1 micro nute

i mean does everyone on here this site get vitamin c everyday???

just a thought dont know if im right tho

could be wrong wouldnt be the first wont be the last!!!
