sick plants?? please help me please(lots of pictures(huge))

ok..i thought all my problems were solved...my plants were a growing good..then looked at my roots the other day when i was cleaning and changing water...they are slightly browning on some...i have already lost one plant but i added another air pump and 12" air stone.....here are some pictures...i havent feed them in 2-3 days because i saw the browning roots and not sure if its a nute burn or something...but it was only 1/4 strength forumla....ph is at 6.2...room temp is 78..not sure what water temp is(slight cool too touch but not very)

i have noticed that there is this white stuff appearing on the rockwool and some of the rocks..not sure what it is??? not sure if you can see it too well tho

looks like root rot try putting half a cup of peroxide into your reservoir. you should do this every two weeks to maintain healthy white roots.

for the rockwool you can mix a table spoon of baking soda with water in a spray bottle and spray on the rockwool cubes. good luck

they arent looking soo good today..i did add that half cup of peroxide to the resivour...i did go ahead and feed them today just because they are all droopy and well looking weak and hungry...but idunnoes..i guess time will tell...ill post some new pictures here in a little bit

ph is at 6.2

ph is too high

5.5-5.8 is optimum for hydro

they also look as though they were fert burnt some are showing "the claw" nitogen toxicity

you need a PPM meter to control your ferts

Id change out the res and exercise more specific control of PH and PPM's

thanks for the help guys...but its too late..they are dead =( oh well...not bad for a first try...but i bought a big o'l bag of soil and im just going to switch back to dirt for now..might try another hydro grow with some clones off my dirt plants when they get big enuff
