curling up and down?

hey all, here's my setup

two plants in soil, in a 25" wide by 25" high by 8" deep, with two 42 watt cfls an inch and a half away the plants. temps are around 90 degrees when my box is closed, humidity is at 51%. I currently have the box open and a fan blowing on them, lowering the temps to 75% watering when soil is dry 2 inches into the cups, which is about once every two days lately. plants are 8 days old.

I'm a bit confused about this, mainly because I thought these symptoms were pretty much the opposite of each other. On one plant I have leaves curling up, and on the other I have leaves curling down. What should I do?

Also the white part on the leaf of the second pciture isn't there in real life, just something wrong with the lighting outside the box.

Re: curling up and down?

Well i see over watering, heat stress, stretching and nutrient burn. You need way more soil in those cups. Oh and what kind of soil do you have them in?
Keep'em burnin
