(BT) Bacillus thurgiensis

I have a bad infestation of fungus gnats in one of my pots, because i cloned with peat moss, and they love it, I just got a bottle of (BT) from a company called Southern AG the problem is I think the some gnats are past the larvae stage and are becoming adults, will this strain of BT take care of them? I also put sand in my pots but there are small rocks that apparently they can get through. I even put up a hot shot no pest strip and theyre still dancing around the sand like if the stuff is good for them. also, I don't know if I can pour this stuff in the soil because it talks about spraying the leaves in the instructions. heres the instructions for stuff that I got http://www.southernag.com/PDF%20Files/Thur.pdf Help

Ah man sorry to hear about your infestation.

I hate fungus gnats with a bitter passion! They ran me out of growing once before with an infestation that almost ran me out of my house too. They were super gnats that shrugged off bugsprays like water.

Do a search on here there's several good prior posts with great ideas.

Next time I want to try-
Neem oil- Pure Neem Oil - Greenhouse Megastore has everything you need to build, equip, and maintain a commercial, hobby, school or institutional greenhouse.

OR Ed Rpsenthals stuff

Pest Control - - Ed Rosenthal's "Zero Tolerance" is scientifically designed to eliminate pests. Z

Re: (BT) Bacillus thurgiensis

thanks for the links man, i'll make sure to try that stuff my next grow it sounds promising, the thing is, I barely bought this BT yesterday at home depot and I haven't used it yet, I'm asking if I can drown the little bastards with this stuff, by watering it into the soil and without harming the plants because the directions only talk about spraying leaves. what do you guys think? Heres the link pdf again http://www.southernag.com/PDF%20Files/Thur.pdf all help is appreciated
