Re: two plant..one pot how do i remove one?

wen i transplant i soak my medium i mean soak let it sit 5 minutes and grab from the base and slowly pull the plant out of the mud. SOME not ALL roots will rip not bad for the plant i normally wait until im CLOSE to root bound and transplant so that root development is abundent and u can afford to rip and lose roots. u will have a root ball at the bottom of your stem. once the plants completly been pulled from soil IMEDIATELY transplant put your root ball deep enough so that your plant will stand when you cover the roots with soil. your plant will take root into new medium fine and you should be okay for a while

Re: two plant..one pot how do i remove one?

transplants are easy just lightly tap the sides then flip the pot upside down and tap the bottom a little. As for separating the roots, good luck. As long as you are careful I am sure they have a good chance for survival. They might have some shock from ripping of roots and will be stunted for a time, but it's damn near impossible to keep all roots with plants even of that height during a transplant.

Re: two plant..one pot how do i remove one?

The best method is to thoroughly soak the soil, let it sit for a couple minutes.. Put you hand over the soil and invert the pot. Now have a friend with a hose rinse all of the mud off of the roots, or do it yourself carefully in the sink/bathtub. If all went well and none of the roots were entangled, you should now have two separate plants! If the two are hopelessly entangled, get a sharp, clean knife and try to 50/50 the roots between the two. Be sure to wash any loose roots away as they will rot and it can spread to the healthy roots. Plant and bury the roots in new pots.

I hope this was helpful!

This is a VERY BAD way of transplanting. There is usually very little need to rip any roots, and you should take care not to. The only time you should cut roots is if they run in a tight circle around the bottom of the pot. In that case, they are root bound and you should use your fingers to rip the "circle" apart before transplanting--extreme cases require a sharp, clean knife.. You can just cut about 1/8" off the entire root-ball. All in all, cannabis is an amazingly adaptive plant and will put forth its best effort to stay alive/make new roots even if you cut the roots right below the root collar, but any cutting of roots will likely stunt growth, as the canopy grows proportionally to the roots. Please do not grab your plants by the base and pull them out of the soil.......
