Lost the bottom half...of what?

On edit: There should never be any pulling in first place...you turn the pot upside down and let everything come out by itself...

Re: transplanting and lost the bottom half of roots

it should be alright, just give the new ends a very short trim with scisscors so it triggers new root formation and set them back into their new home.

Don't know how I missed that in the title...

Set your plant in the new substrate you are using with disturbing the left over roots as little as possible.

Good luck man and next time less rushing.

Re: transplanting and lost the bottom half of roots

Might be worth giving her a little Superthrive with the next couple waterings also...

Re: transplanting and lost the bottom half of roots

you can also disolve a little rooting hormone in the water you use for watering, this will hasten the process of new root developement when added to superthrive.
