Brown water in catch? Damaged leaves?

What type of medium; soil or hydro? Soil
What brand and type of soil? MG Organic choice mixed with 25% peralite
Indoors or outdoors? Indoor
What strain? Not sure. Indoor mix (fem'd) from Nirvana
How old are the plants? 24 Days since sprouting
What type of lights and how many watts? 2x 30w 65k CFLs
How far from the lights? About 5 inches
What is your watering frequency and source of water? 2 litres every two days of tap water that has been left open for 24 hours or more
What, how much and when was it fed? NPK? 1/4 tsp of 24-8-16 on day 23
What is the medium/runoff pH and PPM if in hydro? runoff is approx 6.5
What are the temps and humidity in the room? 90-100F but over the last few days i have been able to reduce to about 80-85F. Humidty was 60% during the hot period and now is around 70%
What size pots? 13" diameter
Any bugs? noticed a Symphalid problem on day 20. sprinkled top of soil with bonide insect control and watered 2 litres. havent noticed any bugs on surface since
Any other pertinent info? I took her out of the pot to add more soil (there had been some compaction) and thought her roots looked really stringy and weak. The color of the water in the catch is a deep brown. i dont think this is normal.

Here is a picture of the damaged leaves i removed yesterday. and a attached image of the runoff color. Please help!

Is that Miricle grow fertilizer you give it? Try 1/2 tsp once a week to every other week if it MG.

If that makes them worse then cut it out and flush then resume with 1/4 every week to every other.
