Exclamation Something is EATING my plant?!

First here's my info;

  • Hydro or Soil:50/50 of MG Organic Choice/Perlite, 1 TSP Blood Meal, 1/2 TSP Bone Meal
  • Type of light? 8x 26w 6500k CFL, 2x 20w 2' Floro tubes = 248w of CFL
  • "Atmosphere" Conditions Temps 80-90's during the day, 70-75 during the night/morning (got really hot this week due to power outage). Humidity almost always in the 40-50% range.
  • Waterings Water her every Sunday with 6 cups (makes 1/3rd runoff) -- (unless dry, etc) with distilled water
  • PH Range I correct it to 6.8 pH before I water, runoff indicates between 6.5-6.7
  • Nutrients/Supplements Blood Meal (12-0-0, 1 TSP mixed with top 2-5" of soil, Bone Meal (6-12-0, 1/2 TSP mixed with top 2-5" of soil, MG Organic Choice Potting Mix (0.10-0.05-0.05), and noobishly gave her liquid MG nutes (12-2-4) at 7 days of age at 1/8th strength.
  • Design and Dates My design consists of 2x 35gal Rubbermaid bins, one on top of the other. I've got an active exhaust (2x 120mm 88.11 CFM fans), a 10" 650 CFM uber fan on the highest setting blowing across the bulbs, a 4" fan blowing upwards towards the exhaust, and a passive intake (6" hole with furnace pipe for light trap). The inside of the bin is lined with Metal Repair Tape purchased at Lowes. Its really reflective, almost like brushed aluminum.
  • Other My plant was 26 days old in the photos taken for this thread. The first hole appeard on the 22nd day from sprout.
Heres the story;

Ok guys I noticed a little hole, almost like a chew mark out of my plant about 4 days ago. I noticed a new one (the one circled in red at the top) 2 days ago, and the one in the middle I noticed today. No idea what it is but people suggested I not worry about it unless it happens again. Well it keeps happening.

Here are a few shots of my setup, the plant, and various other images that may aid in my diagnosis.

This is plant after a roughly executed re-potting that involved raising the soil line, also tied her down for the 3rd time in LST. Unfortunately in this picture she was suffering from transplant shock, I assume.

Here is a picture of her before the repotting, taken about 3-4 hours before the first picture;

And here a just some random pics of my setup, and pics of the first sign of this problem;

Hopefully someone can give me advice on what to do, somethings eating my plant and I cant figure out what, I cant see any bugs?!

Thanks in advance!

Re: Something is EATING my plant?!

usually i wonīt worry too

probably these holes are just "burned" into the leaves through the waterdrops
i hope you know what i mean, if not see the picture attached

also the humidity minium 30% is a little low. and probably the fertilisation was a little too high (new leaves are curled), but both are no reason for the small hole in the leaves.

but in general your plant looks in pretty good shape

I thought the same thing when the first one appeared, then more came so I knew it couldn't be from damage. I realize now that they've been appearing since I've been misting her (just got the spray bottle like 6 days ago).

It's gotta be that so I'm going to hold off on the spraying.

Re: Something is EATING my plant?!

just spray bigger drops, like on a rainy day, you donīt need to stop spraying at all.

have a good time with your plant
