Now I'm Worried!!

Hi All,

I have been having yellowing/dying leaves at the bottom 1/3 of my babies pretty much since I started flowering, now however, they have stopped growing... that is to say that during the last few weeks they have been anywhere from 20mm - 40mm per day, and when i measured them earlier they had not grown a single mm..... they are at just 9 days of flowering! is this in anyway normal??? p.s. i have been struggling with temps and humidity (even though they were still growing during these struggles)

Attached are some pics of their progress (or not lol)

Any help or advice is invaluable

Hi CFLMadness,

Thanks for the reply... excuse my ignorance but what does ligit mean?

Also, is the fact that they havent grown at all in a day a problem after reasonably consistant growth previously?

Thanks again

He means "legit," as in legitimate.

As for the delayed growth, don't worry too much. During the flowering stage, the plant will begin to focus more on flowering than growing. If you want to be safe though, check the Ph levels. You should also keep the temp as close to 75-80 degrees as possible. Too high, or too low can slow down growth. As for humidity, I would suggest lowering the humidity to about 10-20%. The less humid it is during flowering, the more trichomes will produce. Trichomes will produce to keep the plant from drying out.

Re: Now I'm Worried!!

Ahhh, Thanks Crucifyer,

I thought i was just not looking at it right lol

This is my first grow so i have been getting a little paranoid about caring for these little ladies for so long only to have 'em die or something (and not enjoy their dank fruits at the end)

Regarding a low humidity... is that a tried n tested method or a theoretical proposal... i only ask as the guy in the hydro shop had a bit of a go at me saying things like 'people think they can just get a light and grow' because i told him i couldn't get more than about 40% humidity!!

Many thanks
