baby plant with very droopy leaves (pics)

this plant is 4 days old, and it has been fine untill last night it got very droopy leaves. i don't think it is over wattering (but it could be i guess), i don't know if heat will cause that, but if it can that is more likely. can anyone tell me what the most likely cause of this is?

thank you

bump.
i am new and not sure if heat will cause this sort of thing. i am currently working on my grow cabnit's ventilation so it's a bit hot in there. is this the cause or is it something else?

When they droop its usually under or over watering. What type of soil is that? What are the temps inthe room? What lights/?

Re: baby plant with very droopy leaves (pics)

sorry for not adding enough details
it is 1 45 watt CFL warm light bulb (i know it's the wrong one, but it's what i have)
the temp i don't know exactly because i don't have a thermometer right now, but i would guess around 85-90(at the hottest), so pretty warm, but not extremely hot.
the soil is miracle grow timed release (i know that's not good but again it's whta i have)

i haven't wattered it for 3 days and the soil is just moist about an inch under and dry above that. schedule is 20-4 right now

the fan i have in there keeps the light cool, so i have had it less than an inch away from the bulb with no problems, but the area gets warm. right now i have it aout 3 inches away from the bulb.

OK Well the heat and soil could make them droop. Just let them dry lower than an inch deep before watering and don't add any fertilizer for weeks.

Re: baby plant with very droopy leaves (pics)

whenever my plants start looking droopy its normally because i havent watered them in a couple days. however if your plant is that small you prob dont need to water it more then once a week.
