week 6 and yellow leaves (pots to small?)

Hi everyone i have 7 plants that are 6 wks into flowering. They are all starting to get yellow leaves. Heres the thing tho ... Some of the leaves are just turning yellow, some are getting brown spots also, some and just really light green and some have curled tips(not bat tho). The plants are all about 2-3 feet tall now. the smaller plants seem to have less yellow leaves then the big ones. I do not even have a ph meter to test my ph with.... I use Fox Farms big bloom and tiger bloom together to water and occasionally some shults bloom plus. I use 2 teaspoons of tiger bloom and 2 tablespoons of big bloom per gallon. Some of the plants have pretty good lookin nugs growin and the 3 biggest have loose buds growing compared to the small ones. They are in 2 gallon pots right now. OK SO WHAT I WANNA KNOW IS WHAT I NEEDA DO BETTER WITH MY WATER. I really am just guessin how much food to give them, but i give them about 1 1/2 cups of water with the nutrients in it every day. Yes i water my plants every day because they dry out every day if i dont. So someone please tell me the best thing i could do right now to make a difference. Basically my plants overall are still doing ok but they seem to have a tiny bit of every problem. Like random dead spots on the leaves (small) and the big leaves are just a little yellow..lots of the little leaves turn yellow though. Thanks please give some advice if u finished reading this!

hey i have a similar problem... Posting a pic of the plant would help a lot.. The common thing we share is small pots.. I am using gallon grow bags, but i think it is way too small..Maybe this is our problem? What type of light you using?

I sometimes water everyday too, due to the fact my girls are in smaller pots. My next set of girls are going to get 3 gallon bgs..

Re: week 6 and yellow leaves (pots to small?)

what strain is it? if it is an indica dominant strain that, at 6 wks, is getting towards the end of flowering, then what you are seeing is pretty normal for cannabis plants. no need to worry about it.

however, if this isn't settling enough for you, another source of your problems may be from pH. you say you have no way of testing pH? i know that FoxFarm's Tiger Bloom is very acidic (pH 5 or so). if you haven't ever adjusted any pH solutions or soil pH, then i suspect your soil pH is running pretty low right now. consider flushing with some pH up solutions to get it back within range, although since you seem to be nearing the end of flowering this might not be necessary.

Re: week 6 and yellow leaves (pots to small?)

If they are small pots...nutrient deficiency. Water with fert at a medium dose almost all the time.

Bottom yellowing..N
Spots....P
Green veins on bottom leaves...K< Mg

Larger containers and less fert seems to be the way to go unless you want to fert all the freakin time

You want your plants to be deficient about a week before you pull to avoid unnecessary harshness due to luxury consumption by the plant

Re: week 6 and yellow leaves (pots to small?)

4 TABLESPOONS!!!!!Per Gallon//// WTF? What does the box say to mix? I am unfamiliar with Tiger and Big Bloom... but I only add a 1/2 TEASPOON per gallon with the nutes I use. I give them half strength what the box says and never more then every other watering.

It sounds like DEFINATE overfertilization.

You wont be able to dial it in without testing ur PH. Different things happen @ Different PH levels. Exsample Nitrogen is loocked out in soil @ 4-5.5 PH level,,Magnesium gets locked out of soil growing at ph levels of 2.0-6.4. So it is some what important to know
