Need bug id help. (pic)

Theese critters washed out of the rockwool. No wings on them about 1mm in size. Could they be sub adult fungus gnats? I have not seen adults or the larva. This is in a small ebb and flow set up.
I hung up one of thoose hot shot strips. Should i do anything else? They just appeared last night.

A bunch more washed out of there tonight. I saw a bunch off small ones too. They kind of look aphids, but they are only in the roots.

try taking a macro shot if you can

oddly enough there called root aphids lol there feeding on ur nutrients n whatnot and they like the moisture, if u search root aphids on the internet u should find a cure!

I think your rite on the root aphids. They dont sound fun either. I am thinking they must of came in on the clones I bought.

I think the hot shot may be killing them off. I am seeing a lot less today. A ton of them drowned too.
