PICS; defficiency or PH problem?

These god's treat plants are 6 weeks into flowering and look sort of funky.

Soil, 250hid lamp 12 inches away, ph 6-7, using fox farm tiger bloom, temp:day-73, night-66-68, humidity-50%.

It may be overwatering but I have waited until the containers are light and plants start to look wilty.

I am using one of those shitty ph testers where you add 4 drop and match the color.

This is my first time growing and would appreciate any help.

thanks

Re: PICS; defficiency or PH problem?

I would say a micro nute diff, but during the last few weeks of flowering the sun leaves begin to fall off naturally. I would let it go for the last week or two of flowering and not try to fix it.

Re: PICS; defficiency or PH problem?

that looks to me that it could be calcium, potassium OR PH i would check the PH to rule it out. or look at what i had or hadnt given them the few days before

EDIT the more i look at it i see the beginning of what could be a Mg def as your leaf margins start to lose color around the veins usually cal and mg work hand in hand, what kind of nutes have you been given do they have cal and mag in them? some nutes will leave them out.

Re: PICS; defficiency or PH problem?

I used Fox Farm Grow Big for veg.

I had this happening worse before, but about a week ago i leached the soild with 2 1/2 gallons plain water, 1 gallon Earth Juice Micro Blast, then another 2.5 of plain water.

The plants looked better afterwards, but after my first watering again start to pick up these same symptoms that are shown in the picture.

It is progressing a little more now. here are some better pictures for you;

The stem has changed color

more of the rust looking stuff

Does anyone have any more ideas? It could be magnesium, Ill try some epsom salts on one of the plants here today.

Re: PICS; defficiency or PH problem?

I'd have to agree with dylan, are flushing if not thats all i would do. It's ok if the leaf on it's most outer point to be in that condition and only if it goes no further. It is a sign of over fert but if u Hydro its a ok place to be,hydro allows u the time to back off ferts in time. You have some leaves that look like mine in about the 4th wk in flower and most of all FLUSH at least 1wk or 2

Re: PICS; defficiency or PH problem?

sweet, thanks for your help folks.

edit:so should i wait to add Epsom salts to see if the available Mg will be released with better ph and less watering? Or just add some Epsom salts to the next watering?

Re: PICS; defficiency or PH problem?

purple stems = deficiency but look at the pic :

it says if you have purple stems,it is not mg deficiency.

Re: PICS; defficiency or PH problem?

Hello All! I have problems very similar to workin's. I have been reading lots of FAQs and have not been able to find a picture that looks like my problem. In workin's last picture there is a leave that is folded together downward and curling inward. What is causing that? Overwatering? Too much N? Any help would be appreciated.
