Re: Lowryder#2 will not flower! Help

DSC00833a.jpg

I am growing Easyryder (Lowryder2 x AK-47) indoor under 1 UFO 90w LED. Things are going well. This picture is from 1 week into the grow. I am now at 2 weeks. Growing well so far. Good luck with yours. Those longs stems on the previous pictures tell me that they are not getting enough light at all. Looks like the bugs love them.

Re: Lowryder#2 will not flower! Help

yeah the weather over here really raped the cycle they had going. didn't anticipate that the bugs would love this strain, either. last year i grew some regular strains (that is to say, non-ruderalis), and although they were pulled early (killed by an angry friend after a fight) they had no issues with bugs. strange.

and yeah i'm not expecting much in the way of yield; i'm just trying to scrape together what i can. if i can get a half, even just a quarter, from the three put together, i will be happy. i really feel as though if this weather had not been as ridiculous as it has here this year, i would be looking at a much different outcome, but alas, such is life.

and word, i'll check the pH probably on friday and hope it'll be a little lower.

i'll try to get some new pictures up for you in a week, no prob.

Re: Lowryder#2 will not flower! Help

I'll have pictures and comparisons by mid-week, waiting on my new laptop to come in.

ran some pH tests today...#1 and #2 read 7.1, and #3 read 7.0. I don't get what the issue is.

Planning to flush again tomorrow night; gotta buy more distilled water and drag them outside to flush. Going to check on #4 tomorrow night as well, haven't looked at her in a week, as I've given up most hope on her.

Re: Lowryder#2 will not flower! Help

hey ricky are you using distilled water or normal tap water because normal tap water has a ph of about 7.2 and if u are using tap water boil it and let cool or let it stand for 48hrs it must be something either with the water u are using or the soil if its mircle grow soil or similar it will have time release nutes that might be causing issue how ae they look now and change KAT

Re: Lowryder#2 will not flower! Help

I've been using distilled water for weeks now. It's not MiracleGro soild, but I believe about half or a third of the total soil in two of the pots has nutes in it, not necessarily time-released. However, I thought that would be offset somewhat with the peat moss, and the ground coffee, and the perlite, and the use of flushing/watering with distilled water. :|

And they've improved greatly, but I'm still concerned with the pH, because if it remains this high I can't add molasses or anything, as well as the fact it could stunt the growth further than the weather already has, even though it appears it really hasn't done that as of yet.

Pictures coming soon.

Re: Lowryder#2 will not flower! Help

here they are. these were taken on tuesday, so they've matured a little more since then, so i'mma prolly put up new pictures on sunday to show the development.

anyway.

#1:

#2:

#4:

and to top all of this, on sunday i went and checked on #3...she's managed to fight off the horrendous recent storms and come back from the wilting failure caused by the weather in june to really start growing! the leaves are coming back strong and green, and it's starting to coat itself in trichs a little as well. the one problem is, it's curved it's leaves and nodes to about an eighty-degree angle for some reason...i'm assuming it was difficulty to reach the sun at points.

i need to run some pH tests on her and (most assuredly) will be flushing her.

watered #s 1, 2, and 4 tonight as well with my remaining distilled water. gotta go and buy more tomorrow, and run some pH tests.

Thanks man, much love. I myself am impressed with the improvements the CFLs have done to the indoor ones. I went out and bought a small fan to keep mold away from the indoor babies and nailed it to the wall. Tomorrow I'm hopin' to go and buy one more and nail it to the other side of the wall for a nice crossbreeze. The only downside is that it makes a humming sound that can be heard outside of the room, sort of in the way that an air conditioner can be heard from another room if not secured properly which mine really isn't; it's meant to be sat on a desk but I inverted it and nailed it to a wall to allow the breeze to hit all three plants).

Anyway, got more distilled water and watered #3 outdoors with about 2/3 of a gallon. Got some pictures to show too. Some moderate improvements overall...and I'm surprised it came back given that I left it for dead, like I said.
