Re: Lowryder#2 will not flower! Help

I'm having the same problem. I got 4 fem LR2's under 425watt of 2700k. 150watt of that is HPS. I'm on day 45 and my plants look exactly like yours. I see that many have been having this problem lately, hopefully it is a result of the small cfls and buds will come eventually and not some kinda wave of bunk seeds that we all got.....

Re: Lowryder#2 will not flower! Help

Try dropping lights to 12/12. I know it sounds bad, but its the only thing that worked for me. It sems as if some crosses are not all auto-flowering. I had a problem with the autos. I started them to gorw whilst my WW AI and Church fems were being germed and vegging. I started them 1 month before i germed the fems. At 3 months i had 2-3ft tall autos that had stopped growing and had gone into leaf replacment cycles, with odd looking tops. well 2.5 weeks ago the fems were past ready being tall and filling the space. I then went from 20/4 to 12/12. and suprise suprise the lowlife autoflowering mixes are now growing buds, and the odd tops have kicked out nodes of bud forming long colas. They statred budding from day 1 under 12/12 they were 100 days old at that time.

Re: Lowryder#2 will not flower! Help

Same thing Happened to me except I let them go for almost 60 days. Switch it to 12/12 and low and behold they started to flower. Whats the point of an Auto-flowering strain that doesn't automatically flower?

Re: Lowryder#2 will not flower! Help

That is strange. I germinated two seeds from my last LR2 grow, and one turned out male. My lone plant is now at day 32, and is flowering like crazy. It has been in soil, under CFLs on a 20/4 schedule. I used 6500k bulbs for the first two weeks (104 watts) and have been using 2700k (160 watts) since then. I have added nutes twice, a 1/2 strength dose of GH flora micro and flora bloom. Instead of going to down to 12/12, have any of you tried 24/0? I only use the 20/4 because most of the seedbanks recommend it throughout the grow.

For the first 4 or 5 weeks I did then I went to 16/8 and when that didn't work I went to 12/12 and now they are doing great.

Re: Lowryder#2 will not flower! Help

I chose to not use the flora gro because the flora micro has about the same amount of nitrogen in as the gro, plus other micro elements. I figured I would error on the safe side and not take a chance on over doing it. It seemed to work for me. On a different note, after reading back through the posts on this thread, somebody seems to be under the impression that LR2 is 60 days seed to harvest. The info I got says it is approx. 80 days in all, and have found during my last two LR2 grows that it is more like 90-95 days. Just thought I'd pass that on to reduce some stress......

On the packaging it says 8-9 weeks from seed to harvest. 9X7= 63 days. And as far as that being with a hydro setup I have mine in a aeroponic setup and still it is taking longer.

Re: Lowryder#2 will not flower! Help

Listen to this then G.C dwellers. My feminised Lowryder2's have so far spat 3 males at me from five seeds. These seeds are a SKANK. The 2 females are tiny compared to the males too.
