Need advice on bubble to soil transplant

I could do with some help transplanting very messy roots to soil. There are 9 plants in total. 3 in each pot in a 12inch bucket. I realise this is overcrowded and need to move them. However, soil is now my only option and would like to plant them without killing them.

How should one go about such a task. What % of roots can I loose/trim and still keep growing.

EC is at 400
pH 5.3
Under 150watts - fluro - veg
Age: 1 month
Blueberry
Humidity & Temp regulated

Could anyone spare a minute to advise?

Hey bro! Nice plants. You could with a little effort untangle the roots gently pulllng them apart so not to break them. (Use a clean latex glove if you have one.) Just go real slow and do one at a time till you get them untangled.

Once you get them untangled and ready to go into the soil you can just curl the roots down into your loose soil and loosely fill the pot. I would recommend waiting about 6 hours before you water the newly transplanted plants, giving them some time to acclimate to the soil. I would also wait a week to give them any nutes or additives. Good luck and I hope this helps.

Re: Need advice on bubble to soil transplant

cheers munch... yeah i wasnt sure weather i could untagle them all out of the pots without busting half the roots, but i will try my best.. so generally its better to keep and dammage roots then trim cleanly and let it grow back.. i know there will be a stunting of growth but im sure there will with damaging the roots ,, eek hell i dont know ,, am abit busy at the mo to find the time to get round to the transplant so i will keep pimping this question out for the meantime ,,,

cheers,,
