Actually looking a lil closer it seems like the leaves are burning.Maybe too much nutes?Guess keep checkin the pH man I'm stumped on this one.My leaves were doing that in my soil, that spotting you see in pic 2....try raising the ph a lil to like 6.5..thats what I did and it was fixed. That hydro kit comes with pH up and won right?Mine did.

distance from light is determined by canopy temp. by a thermohygrometer with a probe to hang from your light to get the exact temp at the top of your plants. running you veg lights 24/7 is a bad idea, cannabis produces essential hormones during the dark phase.try 18/6 your plants will be much happier! .ph for hydro should be more like 5.6 or 5.8 depending on the strain. tapwater sucks! use reverse osmosis water. they sell it in jugs at the supermarket. any water for hydro should have a starting ppm of 0 or at least less than 10. go easy on the nutes at first, and always use organic when possible!

I agree with the above except autoflower strains, which do well in this system because of size, veg better on 24 hr light, mine get 24 hr light all the way through, it just shifts toward 2700k in flower. Also I think too many get hung up on a pH roller coaster adjusting too often and too sharply. The stealth hydro gurus recommend any fluctuation in a range of 5.6 - 6.8, it's working for me.

General 'rule of thumb' is to not introduce nutrients until the plant is roughly 5-6 inches tall and/or begins to show signs of nute deficiency. If you have not, please read the "sick plant troubleshooting" thread. You will see right away this is a burning issue. Where it be light or nutrients. Right now, I have a feeling it could be both. Light should be 6-10" away during the veg cycle (depending on the lumonicity). As others mentioned, nutes are being introduced way too early. My recommendations: Flush out the water and replace it with standard RO water (not filtered or bottled) and bump your lights distance to about 8". Wait a couple days and let us know if the plants spurt right up and explode with joy. Hopefully my experiences and advice from others' was relayed correctly. If there are discrepencies with my comments, please correct me ASAP. I would hate to forward incorrect advice. Thank you, FYI - On a side note, to optimize the pH to cater to the plants growth it is always best to begin at a low 5.1-5.2 pH level. Then once the nutes are added let the pH slowly rise to about a 6.1-6.2 during the end of the plant's life cycle.
