Leaf Droop FLOWERING Day 34

One of my largest Sativa Divas is showing a strange sign. She is the tallest plant in the garden, so I am trying to train her to the side so she can bend back towards the light even with the other plants. She does have a significant amount of root mass coming out of the bottom of the pot but it appears very healthy and happy. The other 2 plants are not showing any of the same signs.

They are living under a 400W MH, getting watered 4 times during light and 3 times at night. The nutrients include Bloom and Bloom Booster, Body Builder, LK, Sweet and CalMag+, and are stable at about 900PPM with pH 5.9.

Is this an issue or a normal stage of life? I expect another 30 days or so of flowering so I have some time. Today the tips of the droopy leaves feel a little weak and brittle.

Thanks!

I think you're over watering it. That causes droopy leaves. Try watering it once every 3 days or so. Give it a good soak then wait until the soil's completely dried out before watering it again.

Re: Leaf Droop FLOWERING Day 34

Sorry, forgot to mention these girls are in hydroton filled pots in an ebb/flow garden.

The air temperature is about 70°F and the water temp is held at 72.5°F. Humidity is running about 45-50% and I run a fan on the girls during light hours.

-Thanks!

id also like to know what is up with these... do you have an airstone in your reservoir?

Re: Leaf Droop FLOWERING Day 34

I've got a huge airstone in the reservoir...

A couple of contributing factors, which I will report back the results. The nutrients had not been changed out since March 16th, so it had been 19 days with only an occasional top-off every 3 days or so. I increased the watering schedule to 7 times per day, at 15 minutes each. She seems to be better since I increased the watering.

Also, with the roots exposed on the bottom, I think I am going to add some hydroton pellets around them to protect them from the light.

Re: Leaf Droop FLOWERING Day 34

Well I think I figured it out... The leaves that are drooping are on the darker side of the plant. Because of her size, I cannot turn her so I have to train her around the light. If you look at the pics, you can literally see the leaves on the right side, furthest from the light, bent down, and the leaves on the light side nice and perky.... I need more light!!!

-Cheers-
