Mites at Harvest

Can someone please tell me the best way to get rid of mites at harvest. I just harvested and are hanging the stems upside down for drying. Mites are going to the top of the stem, but I was told to dunk them in alcohol real quick since alcohol dries quick, and it will kill the eggs as well completely. I also read to do nothing and that the mites will disappear on its own once the plant dries more, but I don't want to risk waiting. So is this alcohol technique good or is there a better solution?

I dont see why you really need to do anything at this juncture. Whatever damage is done won't get worse now that they are hanging and drying. Besides the eggs add that extra flare when u smoke the weed - they pop. rofl. I fog every day for 4 days but only in the veg stage. After that you are playing with your health - never spray chems on buds u are going to smoke. Try the HOT SHOT no pest strip everyone is raving about next go round.
I guess they work good and the msds sheet looks like very low lvl chems only in air and not directly on plant.

Mmm the sound of popping weed lol.

Just continue to let the plants dry. Once they dry out, there's nothing for the mites to feed on, and they will die off or go away. If you are growing in a box, make sure you disinfect it well before your next grow.
