Any bugs? Look real close. Yes spider mites. Small infection caught early again... Thought they were gone b4 we moved them but they got them once more... Possibly from a worm casting bag i bought from a store? it was outside the store in the rain..
Any other pertinent info? Lights fk'd up once. Possible budding on most or all plants.... NEED TO CLONE STILL!!!!

Im not sure if my plant is budding or not but there are some growths on it that look like possible buds forming or maybe just leaves but i have had problems such as over nuting and spider mites. Check out the pics. These lollipops are also a lot shorter then the rest of my plants and have had alot more problems. Also one night our lights didnt turn back on in the morning @ 9 am because of a timer malfunction. They were on a 20 on 4 off. This day they slept 12 hours instead of 4... Because we relized it later that day. But other then that we havnt had any lighting problems. and they are turning off at 5am and on at 9am.

Unhappy Need Serious Advice

O.k. guys I am officially freaked out. Took more pictures today and it looks like alot of the lower levels of the plants are starting to mature or bud. There was only one Night where the lights went off at 5AM and were suppose to turn back on at 9AM and didnt till 3PM that day when i noticed everything was on and fixed everything. That night they were on until 5 AM and back awake at 9AM the next morning and this was about 2 weeks ago maybe little longer.... I hope this is normal or possibly isnt budding cuz i havnt had a chance to clone or anything yet..... Almost all the lollipops look like this and Some of the bubblejacks and Sage x Diesals.... IDK what to do... Do i change my light cycle to 24 on? 0 off???

Do I try and clone ones that don't look budded and change or keep the current light cycle? I need some serious advice.

Also we have had mites and used Organocide to remove them with 2 applications in 1 week. We moved them and noticed them again two days ago and sprayed and manually removed webs and mites.

When they were about 8wks old maybe younger i accidentally used to much fox farm veg mix which caused a PH inbalance and also lots of wilting and ugly plants. We thought we had everything under control until this.

Back left has all lollipops.
Front Has Sage x Sour Diesal and Bubble gum x Jack Herr.
Back Right Has Kali and Oregon Trainwreck, Bubble Jack.
All were clones.

Re: Need Expert Advice. Possible Budding on Med Grow. Please Help.

I just noticed that most of this his happening on the bottom part of the plants... Are they not getting enough light down below? Do i need to add more supplemental lighting such as CFL's or nice Florescent tubes. Or are these just mutated buds because i have some good looking plants to...

Re: Possible Budding On Plants. Please Help. Possibly deformed growths?

I've got a couple like that in Veg - Dont worry, its a combination of stress that causes this and can be from the Pots being to small to the Lights being set incorrectly...
Seems mine pre-flowered whilst the weather was cool (Well cool is a bit shy of the truth, it was -8*C) - Anyway, Trust me, all will be well.

As long as its female

Re: Possible Budding On Plants. Please Help. Possibly deformed growths?

I changed the lights from turning off at 4 to 5 and back on at 9 instead of 8. And they didn't turn back on because the timer set the second as off to. I fixed it and it only happened once. One other time the power went out during the day for a couple of minutes but nothing 12/12 i'm sure of it!

Like i said i nute overloaded them so those lower stems are probally fucked up from that previously and they have been stressed so those will eventually will be trimmed and i think i will be perfect.

We are transplanting into 5gal soon when we get 2 more 600 or 1000 HPS lights.

We were thinking bout making our own ballasts and running them into the house wiring is this a good idea? We are making our own 4f diamond plate and could install a compartment for the parts or could put them in the wall...

Any ideas? I just saw you could wire a ballast up for like 120 bucks of htglighting.com orw/e

Re: Possible Budding On Plants. Please Help. Possibly deformed growths?

ya plants lower section is budding because of the fan leaves blocking the light, if its on 16hr then ur gonna need to do something about the lower section because it thinks its time, on a lighter note u wont get much outa the bottom anyways so id just snip the bottoms and move on lol . another thing u might wanna try is vegging with flouros and flowering with HPS, the flourescents are easier on the plants from my experience, instead of whole dark green hardy leaves it brings a more softer affect and from my exp, i like the buds better from flouro to hps. just an idea puttin it out there

Re: Possible Budding On Plants. Please Help. Possibly deformed growths?

Thanks a lot. We ill hopefully be upgrading to 2 more 600 or 1000W HPS when we are going to flower which we currently arn't sure when we plan on flippin the lights.

Any florescents you recommend specifically? We hope to eventually have enough paperwork to invest in a 7k veg 7k flowering room with 15 plants total maybe 30 if we obtain one more med card. Just future hopes lol...
