HELP! my buds turned brown

help. I woke up today finding out that 3 of my buds have turned brown.

I never seen this before. Whats going on here?

Im 5 weeks into flowering and the rest of the plant is fine.
The CFL are 3 inchs away and i cant feel any heat from them.

Please help.

Sounds like bud rot dude. Whats the humidity like in your flower room?

should i cut the top bud off so it wont spread. and im guessing i cant smoke it either

If its budrot no you don't want to smoke it. Cut affected buds off and check them. I read that some people have come across a worm in the bud that does this too eating at it. Check for that and remove all affected buds. Don't touch anything until u wash your hands to avoid spreading. Also bringing down your humidity to 40% wouldn't hurt.

thanks, i cut of the selected areas. But i did touch the other buds.

I need more airflow right to decrease humidity right?

check the runoff pH and hold off on your nutes a bit. Secondly, your humidity should be at around 30% to avoid these issues and mold. Just increase outflow and inflow from your room, or get a dehumidifier.
