3 weeks stems purple and yellowish leaves

I have to plants both about 3 weeks old. 2 days ago I noticed one plant stems are purple and leaves and stems very very droopy. Second plant looks very good but stems are starting to turn purp and two newer leaves at top have a little yellow on them. I believe this is a phosphorus deficiency. I used MG potting soil w/3m time release. I want to flush and . I have bought MG organic bone meal 6-9-0 and schultz plants food 10-15-10 which one would be best to treat phosphorus deficiency.

Re: 3 weeks stems purple and yellowish leaves

yo bro, im having same problems. But you need to post pictures. People have been saying its overwatering and thats why my branches are droopy but my soil is basically bone dry. Im starting to think i need to flush it (i heard your suppose to do this every 30 days or so) but i dont know if that is the right tthing to do.

Most people say the lower leaves yellowing is from N deficiency i would just add very very small dose (1/4) strength for now and see how your plant reacts

Re: 3 weeks stems purple and yellowish leaves

Okay so this morning I removed plants from MG into Schultz Organic Potting Soil. (Not a big selection at local menards). I also added the Schultz plant food 10-15-10. So I guess the only thing left to do is wait. Any advice welcome.

Soil - Schultz Organic Potting Soil
Lights - 3 23w=100w Daylight CFLs 6500k
Vent. - Ceiling fan constantly on
Temp - 71 and 78 degrees
Humidity - Unknown (average I guess)
Nutes - Schultz Plant Food 10-15-10
Pot Size - 2 3.75gal pots

Re: 3 weeks stems purple and yellowish leaves

if the soil is to dry your leaves will droop. certain indicas will have purple stalk or stems. without pics it's kinda hard to tell. I also would not add nutes for a week or 2 to rule out nute burn.
