Worse than a plant problem..please give me some advice

So heres the deal...I've been growing with a buddy of mine at his house. Everything was going great til about 5 days ago he got into a motorcyle accident...Now hes been in the hospital ever since..Now our plants are under 1000w hps lights and and the first 2 days he was in the hospital i didnt even know that the lights were off those 2 days...then i told his wife to start turning them on and off every 12 hours since we are already into flowering and i cant come by everyday...but the problem is that she has a job and cant consistently turn the lights on and off at the same time every day...the time she turns it on and off everday there's an hour difference at the most...now how much will this affect my plant? I figured the sun doesnt rise and set at the same time everyday so it cant be too bad if its a half an hour to an hour off everyday...Im about to get some timers so i dont have this problem anymore but I need to know if there's gonna be some significant damage to them...thank you for any help!

No one can tell me whether my plants will be okay?

The plants will probably be okay, but you should really buy a timer and set it at a 12/12 schedule that will work with the times you will be available to help care for the plants. There are those of us here that have had power outages a time or two without having problems. Keep an eye out to make sure the plants don't hermie, but otherwise you should be okay.

Yeah dude get a timer. Home depot or Lowes has them for $7 for the heavy duty one. That way you dont have to worry about it...

Who's gonna water them?

Im gonna water them...i want to get a timer but the plugs are european plugs so in order to plug the time into the wall and the light id have to put an adapter between the european light plug and the standard us timer socket...i think they sell those at walmart to thats not a bad idea, thanks for the help guys
