| Clones Yellow and Curled up, should i be worried?
Take a look, most of the clones look really good and healthy but these two from the back corner seem dried up and curled up with a little yellow. If anything I overwatered them... help greatly appreciated! See grow in my sig for more details. How long is the max time I can keep these clones in rapid rooters? Its been 1 week, but I'm still waiting for my 400w HPS light... how much longer will they be ok?

White Widow: Thanks a bunch, just cut all my clones and re-misted the dome.. should the leaves be getting direct water? None of them have roots breaking through the rapid rooter yet but most of them look healthy and have perked up... is it bad that I have the rapid rooter tray sitting in like 1/8'' of water? It's what the rapid rooter package said to do...

don't worry. that is actually a good thing, so i have heard. it means that the clone is using nutrients from the fan leaf to form ROOTS..... you can trim them or leave them too. i normally wait til the leaf is all yellow and pluck it off. |

When cloning, you did the correct thing, buy cutting the leaf tips. Its similar to cutting your finger, your brain, sends all available cells to clot, the cut(s). And the Plant does the same ( no blood ). However, as your plants are being " fixed ", More attention is with the young ones, rather than elsewhere. It places a touch of stress on them, to grow, so you know. If in the instruction manual, It's what the rapid rooter package said to do...Its OK... | |

Thanks a bunch for the help and information. Lesson Learned: The leaves were getting neglected because root development took priority, so by cutting the foliage I'm causing a stress and promoting growth.
