It came out of no where

What strain? Space Queen x Ak47
How old are the plants? 102 days 59 days of flowering
What type of lights and how many watts? 400w HPS
How far from the lights? About 12 to 15 inchs
What, how much and when was it fed? NPK? Last feed on Day 84 with 3/4 table spoon Bat Guano 1-10-.02 and molasses. It was also fed more molasses on Day 98 also at 3/4 a table spoon
What is the medium/runoff pH? 6.5
What are the temps and humidity in the room? 78F 23%H
What size pots? 3 gallons
Any bugs? Look real close. No

This yellowing/browning just came out of no where and is taking over fast. It started towards the lower middle on one of the stalks of the LST and worked its way up. Ive read a lot in the plant abuse chart but I never know what is wrong with my plant. Thanks for your help

Looks like you've got a buildup of salts. Do a flush of just PH-corrected water.

That was one of the things I thought but what threw me off was the new growth isnt exactly showing the salt build up look as its not dark green or anything or does it have thin blades and burnt tips on the leaves coming out of the bud. This effected the fan leaves firs the rest are yellowing. I appreciate the help(Ill probally pick up some RO from the store and do it)

Until then does anybody else have any ideas?

i generally find it better to flush with a quarter or a lil bit less soultion than just pure ph adjusted water. It does indeed look like somewhat of a salt buildup but hard to tell from the pics.

damage usually shows up in the older lower leaves first... and then will progress if the problem is not resolved

that to me looks like it could be your classic "phosphorus deficiency while flowering"

one things for sure, you can rule out N,Mg,Iron,Sulfur, and personally to me it dosent look like a potassium def.


if you think this is your problem its also my opinion that you cut the infected area out and watch it a bit before you act on it. as for your nutes, it seems you havent nuted in like 20 days, is that your normal schedule or did you hault things on account of this?

it does look kinda like nute burn though but i dont see how it could be.

overall suggestion make sure your PH is right, not only the water coming out of the medium but the water going in (if your pouring a ph of 9 through a medium of 4 PH and its draining out at 6.5 thats not really telling you what you need to know.) and watch to see if new areas become infected.

did you add half strength nutes to the last gallon of the flush? flushing is hardly ever a bad thing if its done right but, it your having a deficiency flushing isnt going to put phosphorous back in those leaves, or whatever it may be!

just figured id throw that out there. flushing in veg dosent matter as much because the h igh amounts of nitrogen can grow more, but in flower you need all your fan leaves you can get/keep for bud production!
