Help my baby :(

What type of medium; soil or hydro? Soil
What brand and type of soil? Miracle Grow Organic Choice Soil (10-5-10)
Indoors or outdoors? Indoors
What strain? Bubblegum
How old are the plants? 6 days
What type of lights and how many watts? 4 x 26watt CFL
How far from the lights? 3-4 inches
What, how much and when was it fed? NPK? Nothing yet
What is the medium/runoff pH? Unknown, bottled water.
What are the temps and humidity in the room? 75-85
What size pots? 1.5 gallons
Any bugs? Look real close. Nope.

The first little set of smooth leaves came in fine and green, as did the first set of jagged leaves, but the next pair that is coming out is very brown and looks bad, I didn't change anything and water thoroughly with bottled water (I dont check the PH) once every 1.5-2 days.

Can anyone tell me what is wrong? Should I just wait and it should turn green, or could something be wrong? Possibly a PH problem? I really don't want this one to die, any help appreciated!

I don't have a camera but I am trying to get one to show you guys.

Re: Help my baby :(

I would bet your fertilized soil is burning the shit out of your seedling. MG soils with timed release fertilizers are generally bad news for MJ plants, especially seedlings. A seedling doesn't need to be fed for up to 3 weeks after sprouting, and after that it needs nutrients given at 1/4 strength from recommended dosages.

There is a lot of information on Grasscity about the pitfalls of using the Miracle Grow pre=fertilized products. Try using the search function and read up. Also, if you can get your sprout out of the MG and replant in a good organic soil without the time released ferts, you may still have a chance. Before transplanting, you may want to flush your pot with a good amount of fresh water to flush the fertilizer out. Hope it all works out for you.
