Re: nutrients

Sounds like you put the cart before the horse......you really should have a plan when beginning a grow. Are you growing in soil or hydro? Seedlings don't need to be fed for up to 3 weeks, then should be fed at 1/4 to 1/2 strength until established.

There are several good brands of nutrients on the market, but again some work better for soil/ some better for hydro. Without this info, I suggest going to the websites of some of the go to nutes used here and read their feeding information schedules to get an idea. Some of the brands that are respected ere are:
General Hydroponics / Fox Farms / Advanced Nutrients / Botanicare / Canna .....they should all have feeding information so you can choose what will work for you.

As for ph, in hydro the go to number is 5.8 (+/- .3) and soil try for 6.5 (+/- .3). It's also a good idea to know the characteristics of your water going in. (Chlorinated/well/hard/soft/etc.)
Anyway, it sounds like you have some time to sort it out since you're still in the seedling stage.......Good luck.

Re: nutrients

chunk's right.

But it's not to late, you can still play catch-up if you want. Just read everything you can find. As far as nutes go, start simple. Get some 2 or 3 part base nutrients and maybe one or two bloom boosters. I recommend AN because that's what works best for me.

Just try not to blindly use the nutes. Study up so you know what you're doing. It's real easy to absolutely roast your girls if you're not careful.
