How fast do they recover?

Hello all I've got.....

2 Sativa dominate clones in
2 five gallon bubblers 10'' under
1 400watt HPS light on 18/6 for
2 weeks temps and humidity have
been 75f to 90f with 25 to 35% RH
Using GH nutes at 650 to 750ppm
PH has been as high as 6.2 but try to keep at 5.5
I have been seeing the tips getting dry
and burnt looking and the edges too.

Please help me get them back in the grove so i can go to flower
soon.
They have doubled in height since I've put them in the bucket, but I'm
worried about them.

Here is pictures, many thanks in advance.

Man.....this one is kinda hard because sativas are so finiky. I would say it is a potassium deficiency. Up your nutrient a little that has the potassium in it, and watch your PH level. Try to keep it in the 5.5 region.

I don't know about nute burn, your dosage seems fine. Couldn't hurt to flush them anyway, to remove the built-up salts, etc. in the soil. And try to keep your temps down in the 75-80 range. 90 degrees is too hot and could cause other problems.

Re: How fast do they recover?

Tips look like they're starting to burn, but the plant as a whole looks fine. You don't need that much nutrients in veg. Try a ppm of around 450 or so. In hydro, less is more I've found.

Re: How fast do they recover?

Thanks for the responses guys.... I have a 6 foot tall by 3.5 foot wide by 3.5 deep area to grow in. I've read that they will double in size when i put them into 12/12. Tallest is 13 inches
now. So I'm aiming for two more weeks.

Also on a side note I live in south Texas. It get hot and this grow is in my garage (no AC).
Any suggestions on how to keep cool? Should I start thinking bout buying a small window unit?

Any other Texas growers out there?
