Need Help with plants after lightburn

What brand and type of soil? Miracle-gro: for seedlings/no nutes addes
Indoors
What strain? bagseed
How old are the plants? roughly 2 weeks
What type of lights and how many watts? 6 20 watt CFL
How far from the lights? roughly 3 in.
What, how much and when was it fed? NPK? none yet
What are the temps and humidity in the room? Temp: 70 degrees
What size pots? 6''
Any bugs? Look real close. nope
Any other pertinent info?

Alright here's my problem: I have 2 plants, both were doing really well, one better than the other. Anyway when I checked about two day ago, the larger one was curled up so I figured light burn and I moved the light away and it unfurled the next day. Well now the tips of the large fan leaves are discolored to a light green and there are little brown spots that go through the top leaves(as in holes). This only occurred on the one one that had been burned.I tested PH with a little kit(one where you pour in a capsule of powder) and the PH seems to be at the perfect level(>6.0). So is this damage just from the light or is there another problem? The plant still has put out it's second leaf set so and the other plant in the same pot seems to be growing fine.

Without really seeing any pics, it's kinda hard to tell, but you sound like you're pretty sure that's what's going on, so we'll assume it's light burn for the sake of topic. Light burn, while looking kinda nasty, isn't too disruptive to a plant. However, repeated burns can cause stress....which can lead to some hermie action. Not bad if you're directing a porno, but not what you want in your indoor garden. I heat-stressed one of my favorite Trainwrecks into that on my last grow and it darned near broke my tender heart.


The leaf(s) that were burned will continue to function, but the burned parts will just get crispy. Prune that leaf if you just can't stand looking at it or if you have higher humidity levels so as to prevent any infections or whatever from the damaged portions.

Just keep doin what you're doin. It takes a while, but it will recover. They are tougher than you think....

Hmm and also the bottom leaves are yellow(as in the bottom non pointy ones) so it may not be lightburn aftermath afterall...

Edit: I just picked up some instant release bloom booster that contains all micro and macro nutrients so if I do have a nutrient problem this will correct it yes?

Alright now I've got a serious problem, as the bottom leaves are now dead. One is entirely white, and the other is yellow. The first large fan leaves, what originally appeared to be burn is spreading towards the base of the plant and the new growth has discolerd tips. I'm thinking about just chunking these plants along with the seeds(bagseed). I think they may have bad genetics or something: my plants seem to be contiually failing despite seemingly perfect conditions. Any advice would be much obliged!
