Unhappy Hourglass Stem yellow leaves

I’ve search here many places and read many posts but so far I’m missing something. In the pics below you’ll see yellow leaves. Don’t let the yellow fool ya, I have clipped a total of 18 leaves from the Gigabud and 9 from the power skunk. Most from the bottom of the plants. This made me think of a nute or PH problem so I decreased the FF from 3 teasp per 4gal to 0 per Gal. I’ve been keeping the PH between 4.2-5.8 everyday. I was checking it only 1’ce every 2 days. If you look at the pics you’ll see that 1 of the babies has small brown spots on the leaves, this is the way the problem started on the bigger ones. 4 total plants, 2 small, 2 big, 1 of the babies has it, 1 don’t. I also stopped spraying the leaves with “La Croix Sparkling Pure Water” (carb water) and went to reg dis water only. I’ve used my PH meter so much that it stopped working today and got a new 1 on order. The temp is down from 80 to 75. I also noticed a few days ago some brown on the roots, but very little. It may have been early stage root problem or maybe left over dirt from improper hydrotron flush. Either way I used 2.5oz of Peroxide to 4gal of water and brown is now gone. Also been changing the water every 2 days. I don’t have a PPM meter also been leaving 4oz of water in a bowl to help bring up humidity. Room is 3x3x7. That’s it, all I can think of. Hope some 1 can give me some direction. Also please look at the stem of the powerskunk, you’ll know it when ya see it. Has been that way for almost 2 weeks with no trouble but I am worried and haven’t been able to find any info about it. I give all the dead leaves to my cat; she is now just laying outside the door every hour waiting for more. At least someone is happy. See Pics below.

I'm no expert, but I know someone who used to grow, try planting some healthy clones and see if it still happens

Re: Hourglass Stem yellow leaves

that stem looks like its damping off(molding). IMO u should get rid of that one. dont need fungus in the grow room.

u said ur pH is between 4.2 and 5.8 everyday. that seems to be a wide margin. for
hydro pH of 5.5-5.8 is recommended. i think most of ur problems r pH related. try
to get more stability in ur system

ur adding alot of moisture to the air with the pointless foliar sprays and bowl of water
in the room. probably the reason for the damping off. (why r u spraying with carb water
anyways?)

hope things get better for you

This is my 1st grow, I spent many weeks reading GC & trying to come up with a system that would be best. I thought misting with water was helpful

I'm giving a rage of readings over the past 6 days. I also thought anywhere in that range was fine. I will correct this. I also thought this was PH related, my PH meter took a shit today. Can't get 1 local, no stores. Got 1 coming. So far you are the only 1 that has offered advise about the stem. I also have this info posted in my grow thread and so far i've been told to flush the system. But this advise is related to the leaves only not stem.

Will it hurt to change the water everyday with distilled water until the PH meter gets here? Also the stem has been like this since the 2nd week of it's life. Until the lief issue the plant was green and looking fine.

Again "Thanks" for the advise.
