| Re: Wilted plant. Suggestions appreciated.
I'm assuming you've been watering her regularly, so my guess is that she's over watered and suffering from the beginnings of root rot. Roots need oxygen to thrive and survive, and to much water chokes off the oxygen supply. If this is indeed what has happened, try to flush the soil with a water/hydrogen peroxide mix. (up to 1/2 cup of drugstore type per gallon of ph'd water). Set pot on dry towels so water wicks from pot to towels. It's important to let soil dry completely to let fresh o2 into root area. You can also let a fan blow over the plant to help dry out medium.
If you have access to a hydro store, there are enzyme products that help to restore root health.I've used Hygrozyme, and had drooping plants regain there vigor overnight, but also had a few that didn't make it. There is another guy here at GC that has used a product called SM-90 to help his plants, but I have not personally used it.
If you have been over watering, this is a lesson to be learned. Over watering shows the same symptoms as under watering, but the bummer is that over watered plants require a lot more care to regain health whereas a drooping plant that is under watered will recover within hours of watering.
Good luck with your plant.........
