HELP!! Plants are SICK! New grower needs HELP!!

Hi To All!
I have been reading this site for awhile and hoping to find the magic answer, but I am just not sure what is going wrong with my plants.I have 2 female plants that were started by seed in late Oct and put into 12/12 late Dec. One is a bag weed plant and one is either a Fast and Furious OR Sweet Dreams. I ordered these seeds from BC Seeds and it was a special of mixed seeds of these 2 types. I did not realize they would not seperate them! So I am not sure, but doubt it has anything to do with my problem.

Basice Info:
Inside Grow-started with 5 plants-3 males were removed soon after going to 12/12.Planted in 3 gal pots with Miracle Grow Organic Potting Soil with Perlite mixed in.
I am using Foxfarm Big Bloom for fertilizer. Early on I used Miracle Grow, but changed when I found a great store to buy supplies from-Currently in a 4x4 tent. 400 HP light. Temp is staying around low 70's during the day and low 60's at night. Humidity is 40-45%.
I did not fertilize the first month. Now I have been doing it weekly. I likely overwatered in the past(usually every 3-4 days) until I bought a moisture meter and now it is up to 6 days between waterings. I use close to a gallon of water per watering. I started light with fertilizer and now use 3-4 T of the Foxfarm, when I use it. I also added UVB lights recently_a week or so ago, but I saw problems brewing before that.
I do have some sort of little winged bug. Tiny and I have put in sticky tape and caught a bunch, but rarely actually see any on the plants. I have looked at them under a microscope and the have 2 wings and multi legs. I don't want to spray...especially since I hope to harvest in a month or so.
I know they came from some Alpaca Poo I added to the mix (when I transplanted to bigger pots), that had composted for years. I thought with it being super cold outside and this was an old pile, it would be safe w/o sterizlizing it! WRONG! But I have learned my lesson and will not do that again! It is known to be high in nitrogen, so thought the plants would love it!
I am attaching a variety of pictures. The problem seemed to be the bag weed plant originally but now I see the BC seed plant starting the same issue.
Looking at pics on this site of sick plants, I thought it was low nitrogen(though the Foxfarm is a good source for nitrogen, I think), but now I am not too sure. They leaves are yellowing in between the veins, but now some have burn looking tips and some drooping. Seems to be the fan leaves mostly and seems like it is working its way up from the botton towards the upper branches. Some branches are turning reddish, also. The bag weed plants is really looking hard done to, though it has alot of buds. I am SO close to getting a harvest and now I am scared I am killing them!! PLEASE help! Any advice or diagnosis?? I finally got a new camera that I am still figuring out how to use, so if you want more pics, I will try for better shots, but wanted to get these post asap, before all this work goes to waste!
I did post a couple of pics at the end to show the cola's and they look good, I think!
Thanks for any help in advance and I am REALLY enjoying my new hobby.......until this!

Re: HELP!! Plants are SICK! New grower needs HELP!!

I am REALLY needing help! ANYONE??
I did test the PH and it seems to be fine. Should I flush? I am afraid to do any thing, as I might cause more damage. Will flushing be safe? The one plant looks worse everyday. I hate to lose a crop, so close to harvest. Please give me ANY ideas of what is wrong!!

Try reducing the heat. Also, if you can, a gently flush, while transplanting to a bigger medium, would also be a good thing.

Just seems like nitrogen deficiency plus a little bit of nute burn to me. Are you only using the Fox Farm Big Bloom as fertilizer? If you weren't using any ferts during the veg stage then I doubt that the plants got enough nitrogen. Next time be sure to use some Fox Farm Grow Big which has plenty of nitrogen in it. You could start adding it now but it might be too late depending how much longer you have to flower.

Re: HELP!! Plants are SICK! New grower needs HELP!!

Should the day temp be lower than 70 degrees? I was worried it got cold at night. The tent in in my basement and I do have a heater in it, with a thermastat, but it was difficult to get the setting right. Now it is around 72 during the day and maybe 5-10 degrees lower at night.
They did get a bit bigger than I planned and I had thought from my reading that 3 gal was big enough, but I can definitely see a lot of roots up against the wall of the bucket. Can you transplant this big of plant? The bag weed plant(who looks the worst!) is 42 inches tall, from floor to top and the other is 52 inches.
What would "gently flush" involved? How much water?

Re: HELP!! Plants are SICK! New grower needs HELP!!

grinDer,
I only used Fox Farm now, but did use Miracle grow a couple of times before that. I was worried from reading stuff, that the soil I used was full of stuff, so I did little during the veg stage.
I bought some blood meal, as I read this would help with nitrogen deficiency, but I have no idea how much to use? Would this be a good thing to try and if so, do you know how much? Do you just sprinkle around the top of the pot or do you dissolve in water and pour in?
I am starting a new batch of seeds this week and I got the Foxfarm Ocean Forest potting soil. How soon after sprouting do you add FF Grow Big? Would you try that instead of B. Meal now?
I had hoped to harvest in mid- to late Feb!?
Thanks for your help! I does seem to be the fan leaves that are most affected, though I am sure it will spread, if I don't address it!

Re: HELP!! Plants are SICK! New grower needs HELP!!

The temperature sounds perfect. As far as using blood meal I have no experience with it but it is very high in nitrogen (i think it's 12-0-0?) and it's water soluble so if you want you can probably use it at half strength or you could just use your Fox Farm Grow Big. If you are going to harvest in mid February I'd probably give it 1 or 2 feedings with either the blood meal or Grow Big along with Tiger Bloom and then start flushing for harvest. With my plants (and I use Ocean Forest and Grow Big as well) I start giving them nutes about 3 weeks after sprouting.

Yes, it is 12-0-0. I keep thinking it is a nitrogen deficiency too, so I did what you suggested and just use half strength blood meal on the bag weed plant. Heres hoping thats it!
I am confused on which ff nuks to use when. I thought Big Bloom for flowering? Is Tiger Bloom better or do you rotate between the 3? Is once a week a reasonable schedule for feeding?
Thanks again for your help! Funny how you get into these darn plants! LOL

This is FF soil schedule

http://www.foxfarmfertilizer.com/soilfeed.pdf

I dont start using Big Grow until about 4 weeks, and then only 1/4 strength...but I use ocean forest with some biodynamic compost and additional worm casting and perlite mixed in

I do give them bloom starting first week

What I said above, On what level of Toxicity the plant might have, Very plausible!

What is "gently flush"-they are in 3 gal pot-so I though you flush with 3 times water-so 9 gallons of water to flush? Or is it 2x's?
When you say transplant to bigger medium-bigger pot? I do wonder if it is root bound-the worst affected on is 42 inches tall, from floor to top. Is that too big for 3 gal pot? I can see tons of roots through the semi-transparent pot, but it has been in flowering for a month, so I thought it would be too stressful to transplant?
I also figured out the bug I have seen-fungas knats.....I got neem oil to spray tonight on it. Anyone have any advice on that??

I know some yellowing is normal, but I really don't think this is.........everyday a bunch more and it is working its way up towards the top of the plant. So far it does seem to be mostly fan leaves, but it is running out of those! Buds are still appearing everywhere, so it may be longer than a month to harvest? I did add some UVB lights for 4 hrs a day, last week to try to increase bud production.
Curious as to what pot sizes people use-from start to finish?
I used 10 oz cups to sprout and then transplanted to 6 inch pots and then the 3 gal. I think I probably should have put them to flower earlier, but I did not have my tent set up in time, so they are bigger than I expected. Plus, I was trying to not be impatient!
Do you all usually go to 5 gal from 6 inch or 3 gal to 5 gal??
I am ready to start a new batch, so would like to improve my technique!
