my opinion it's a combination of your soil and PH levels, yes get the ph to 6.5 this is not only the water but also the soil. you can buy soil ph test kits at nursery's and also the two correcting powders up and down. The miracle grow soil is a across the board soil used for most plants. The soil usually has slow release fertilisers in them which is probably effecting the PH of your soil and causing the problems, as the slow release nutrients and you feeding the plant is causing over-fertilisation... My personal opinion is to go and get some good soil, check that it's specific for organic herb gardens. Repot your plants with this soil, you are able to remove about 2/3 of the soil around the roots then give it a drink of 6.5 Ph clean water with no nutes. you may also want to help the plant's drainage with a small bag of perlite and a bag of blood and bone mix. follow the directions on the packets for quantities. let me know how u go or if your not clear on any of that.
