Seedlings died WHY?

Can anyone tell me where I went wrong. I am staring northern soul and power skunk it has been a week and I have strong stems about 2" tall but no broad leafs. I have been letting them sit in a jump start greenhouse on a heating pad. I misted them with water 2 to 3 times a day. Yesterday I started misting them with a weak nutrient solution of general hydroponics micro,grow, and bloom in the flora products. I also started it on an 18/6 schedule with an hps 400w light (sun systems) Have not put them in my hydrofarms just yet. No real root system coming through the sides of the cubes yet though. I had the quickest sprout time I have ever had but this morning after first day of nutrients and light they were all drooped over and the stems were flat like they dried up. Was this the Nutrients? The light so early? or a combo of both? Some one help

Could have damped off, too cold inside the cube, maybe they got too hot.. pull the cube open and have a look/feel.

What were the room temperatures? Humidity? How close was the 400w?

the light was about 2.5 feet away, I misted the plant with nutreinet solution while the light was on as well. These plants were babies they had only thier baby leaves and were not all green. Is it possible that it was too early for light? Could the nutrients hurt? Or is it okay to use nutes on seedlings?

What is damped off?

The room temp was probably 85 or 90. I did not have a fan in the closet and it was sealed pretty tight (no ventillation)
