Keep an eye on that sack, it may pollinate the plant. IMO i'd chop it off. |
sorry, but I beg to differ. using stress-induced hermie pollen sacks (bananas)
is a reliable way to create feminized seeds. it is a technique used by many very experienced growers, including Soma. it is not, however, a good way to preserve genetics. nothing is better for that than cloning.
genetic hermies do not have bananas, they create both pistils and regular male pollen sacks, and will only produce hermie seeds. the key is that your plan has female pollen sacks (bananas), and not male pollen sacks.
chances are, there are many more of these hidden in your bud, and choping the one off will not do anything but spread pollen. bad idea to try to remove it. just let your plant finish its flowering, and harvest as usual.
