Exclamation females going hermie, WTF? Thoughts anyone?

I had 3 HUGE female "Cluster Bomb" plants (superstrain seeds from HGS Canada) going along well, nice and healthy. The buds and colas (plural) were getting very fat and in their 6th week of bloom when I spotted a few bastard male flowers hanging from a few female bud clusters. I thought I had found them all and removed them but not so...

I have been forced to harvest early so that the seeds didn't enlarge too much. I must say that the smoke is the BOMB. Very cerebral, with a nice body high... it was like eating a brownie! I was still baked after 5 hours. LOL

I know why hermies occour, but can it be prevented somehow? Help appreciated thanks.

I grow hydro and the system works great, Ph was steady, nutes good, temp good, etc...

Its because your lighting schedule got messed up,or you let light in while they were sleeping.

Check your timers, I bet one of them was off, giving it more light than 12 hours.

It usually happens when the plant is stressed somehow. Consistent interruptions of the light cycle can stress your plants. Too much nutrients, physical damage or pH imbalances can too. The best way to prevent hermies is to take good care of your plants.

were they feminized seeds? They tend to hermie, as well as what the other posters mentioned.
