help bugs in soil

i just seen some small bugs in my dirt they look like small whiteish brow and they are cralwing in my dirt please tell me how to get ride of them

Pics?? Fungus knats. I would like to see some picture or link to something it resembles. If it is fungus knats a light coating of hydrated lime will help lower ph of top soil. Fungus knats love a high acid based soil rich in peat.

Always try to identify the bug first, as different sources and types have different resolutions.
