Continues to happen in veg chamber.

Hi GC homies,

I seem to get this sort of discoloration frequently in my veg area. I was hoping someone might comment on it. Veg area is a 4Lx2Dx3H box, the girls sit below some floro tubes. These are just a few inches off of the plant. Strain is Thai in the picture, but this has happened on multiple girls. Multiple strains. Temps consistent 75F, only 1 full str nute watering but that was a week or 2 ago, general hydro veg nutes. Ive thought maybe too close to the lights? Maybe nute starved? Im still getting used to the GH nutes (maxibloom maxigrow) I just use them once, water once, nutes, water etc. off and on both for veg and bloom. PH is high 6's both the water and the soil.

Any suggestions would be great!

I'm going to say too much Nutes.I had a couple do that after i gave too much nutes one watering.
Almost like the leaves were bleached.
I would give a flush and then 1/4 strength nute mix.

Re: Continues to happen in veg chamber.

I guess this comes to a basic question about nutrients, are the nutes available in the soil even after the water dries out ? its been probably 7-14 days since i last fed, I did overfeed a bit on that last feed so ive been giving straight water since then.

It took about a week for this bleached look to show up id say. I have a girl that this happened to and overtime its progressed into like a bright yellow-green on the whole plant. But other plants with the same nutes, same lights, same distance dont get this discoloration. Id like to say its strain specific but it doesnt seem to be.

I appreciate your input for sure, I have some florakleen so i could give them a flush and some 1/4str nutes. Would it hurt to do this if that *wasnt* the issue?

Re: Continues to happen in veg chamber.

if its been 7-14 days your plants are starving. I had similar looks on mine, gave them some full strength nutes, and they ate em up like champs, leave perked up, green came back. Cannabis needs lots of fertilizer because it grows really fast. doesn't look like burn, looks like starve.
