Sativa or Indica?

quick question. I've heard Sativa plants have skinnier leaves and an indica has fatter leaves. Is my plant a sativa?

pics

i've also heard that Sativa's have a higher THC content. is this true? And if so, is this the only benefit from having a sativa? What else is a plus?

Re: Sativa or Indica?

well, after looking at some pictures, i've come to my own conclusion that its a sativa. Sucks that no one took the time to simply reply "yes" or "no".

Re: Sativa or Indica?

Cant see pics, Indica's are smaller as a rule and a more trippy high. Sativa's can grow huge and are a more sofa hugging high I find. I like to grow both, I like sativa plants the best but they can be monsters.

Each to their own

Oh yes, sativa leaves are in most cases thinnner.

Re: Sativa or Indica?

It looks like a hybrid. A majority of bud nowadays is some combination of indica and sativa traits

Re: Sativa or Indica?

Looks mostly Sativa, thc content depends on the strain. My LSD strain which is indica dominant is 24% thc, stronger than any sativa ive had so far.

nice - you waited 1 hour and then posted this - lol you need to chill dude

it's definitely a hybrid and looks to be 80/20 sativa dominant - but it's hard to tell at this stage

looks like you got the start of pH lockout or a nute deficiency

I think you may have the type of high for each backwards. Typically, a pure sativa has more of the trippy, head high and a pure indica has the body, couch-locking high. However, hybrids of the two bring the best of both worlds in varying combinations, not to mention the color of the trichromes at the time of harvest making a difference as well (cloudy white = head high; amber = body high)
